I kept waiting for this to say, “Live from New York, it’s Saturday Night!” But sadly this is all but too real. This man was forced to hide out in a store while an angry mob grew outside. All from wearing lipstick! LIPSTICK! I just want the utter ridiculousness of that to settle in. Thankfully the store owners locked the door and protected him. Sadly, I’m sure the store will be hate-crimed or was after this. What’s wrong with you Jamaica?!?! I want to pepper spray each person in this crowd.
THESE are the things we as an LGBT community should find outrage over, not a reality TV program. THIS is what we should be fighting against, not each other.
